Appointments & Studio

How do I know which treatment is right for me?

Start with a complimentary consultation. Share your goals, current routine or preferences, and the area you would like to focus on. Your provider will help you choose from La Vilna's available treatments.

Is a consultation free?

Yes. La Vilna offers a complimentary consultation so you can ask questions, discuss your goals, and decide which service to book.

What information should I share before my appointment?

Tell your provider about relevant health information, medications, allergies, current skincare products, recent cosmetic treatments, and any areas you would like to avoid. The details needed can vary by service.

Where is La Vilna located?

La Vilna Beauty Tech Studio is located at 13241 Bartram Park Blvd Suite 501, Jacksonville, FL 32258. You can find the phone number, working hours, map, and social links on the Contact page.

Laser Hair Removal

What is laser hair removal?

Laser hair removal uses concentrated light to target pigment in the hair. It is designed for long-term hair reduction, not a promise that every hair will be permanently removed. Because hair grows in cycles, a treatment plan usually includes more than one session.

How should I prepare for laser hair removal?

Follow the instructions provided for your selected area. Avoid tanning and self-tanner before your appointment, and do not wax, sugar, or tweeze the treatment area. Let your provider know about medications, skin conditions, and recent treatments before your visit.

Does laser hair removal hurt?

Comfort varies by person and treatment area. You may feel brief warmth or a quick snapping sensation during the session. La Vilna uses a diode laser with cooling support, and you can let your provider know if you need an adjustment for comfort.

How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?

The number of sessions depends on the treatment area, hair color and thickness, skin type, and your individual hair-growth cycle. Your provider can recommend a treatment plan after reviewing your goals during a consultation.

Which areas can I book at La Vilna?

La Vilna offers laser hair removal for the face, neck, shoulders, chest and areola, underarms, arms, stomach, back, bikini area, buttocks, and legs. Combination options and full-body treatment are also available.

Skincare Treatments

Which skincare treatment should I choose for my first appointment?

If you are new to professional skincare, start with a complimentary consultation or a Signature Facial. Your provider will discuss your skin goals, current routine, sensitivities, and available time, then help you choose from the treatments offered at La Vilna.

What is the difference between a Signature Facial and Hydradermabrasion?

A Signature Facial is customized around your skin's current needs and includes cleansing, exfoliation, and nourishing professional products. Hydradermabrasion combines vacuum pore cleansing, extractions, and selected serum infusion. The right choice depends on your goals and preferred treatment format.

How do I choose the right Chemical Peel?

La Vilna offers Light, Medium, and Strong Chemical Peels. The appropriate peel should not be selected by price alone: your provider needs to consider your skin, current products, treatment history, and the preparation and aftercare involved.

What should I know before booking microneedling?

Microneedling is a device-based treatment that uses small needles to create controlled punctures in the skin. Before booking, share relevant health information, medications, active skin concerns, and recent treatments. You can also ask about your provider's training, device cleaning process, and use of a new sterile needle cartridge for your session.

How should I prepare for a skincare appointment?

Arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the treatment area when possible. Tell your provider about active skincare products, medications, allergies, and recent cosmetic procedures. Chemical Peels and Microneedling may require individualized preparation and aftercare, so follow the instructions provided for your selected treatment.

Body Contouring

What is Endospheres Therapy?

At La Vilna, Endospheres Therapy is a device-based treatment that uses compressive microvibration. It is available for the face, arms, half body, and full body. Your provider can help you choose the appropriate area and appointment format.

What is the difference between Endospheres Therapy and a STYX Body Wrap?

Endospheres Therapy is a device-based session for a selected area. A STYX Body Wrap is a dedicated body treatment available in Wickel, Thermal, or Cold formats. They can be booked separately or as part of a longer combination session.

What is included in a Body Contouring Combo?

Combo sessions pair Endospheres Therapy with a STYX Body Wrap. La Vilna offers lower-body and full-body formats, plus a full-body option that includes a face massage. Selected services are available as a single session or a 5- or 10-session package.

Is body contouring a weight-loss treatment?

No. Body contouring is an aesthetic treatment and is not a substitute for weight-loss care or medical treatment. Individual responses vary, and no specific result can be guaranteed.

What should I share before booking a body contouring treatment?

Before a device-based treatment, tell your provider about relevant health conditions, medications and supplements, implanted devices, recent surgery, scars, tattoos, or treatments in the selected area. If you are unsure whether a service is appropriate, start with a complimentary consultation.

Massage

Which massage should I choose?

Choose Classic Massage for an everyday full-body reset. Swedish Massage uses light-to-medium pressure and flowing movements. Deep Tissue Massage is a firmer, more focused option. Hot Stone Massage combines massage with warm stones for a slower, warming experience. If you are unsure, begin with a complimentary consultation.

Should I book a 60- or 90-minute massage?

A 60-minute session works well when you have a specific focus area or limited time. Choose 90 minutes when you prefer a more unhurried full-body session or would like additional time for multiple areas. Neither length is "better"; it depends on your schedule and preferences.

Can I request a specific pressure or focus area?

Yes. At the start of your appointment, share your preferred pressure, the areas you would like your provider to focus on, and any areas you would like to avoid. You can also ask for an adjustment at any point during the massage.

What should I tell my provider before a massage?

Tell your provider about relevant health conditions, recent injuries or surgery, pregnancy, medications, allergies, and any sensitivity to heat or pressure. If you have a health concern, speak with a qualified healthcare professional before booking.

What should I expect after a massage?

Everyone responds differently. You may feel relaxed or notice temporary tenderness after a more focused massage. Follow any guidance provided for your session, and contact a qualified healthcare professional if you experience severe or unexpected symptoms.
